Training Options
Our training services cater to dogs of all ages, breeds, and behavioral backgrounds, covering essential puppy obedience through specialized training for aggressive or reactive dogs. So we can cater to your dog’s unique learning style and needs, our options include immersive board and train programs, structured group classes, and personalized private lessons.
Service Dog Training
Join our Pomona service dog training – a comprehensive program directed by a certified service dog trainer. Our K-9 trainer starts the process with a no-cost consultation and assessment, evaluating your dog’s suitability and support requirements. Upon completing the initial consultation, your service dog trainer in Pomona will develop a tailored K-9 training program consisting of three phases. These phases consist of group workshops such as Urban Canine, CGC Level I & II, and Basic, alongside train and board options, individual lessons held either at your residence or elsewhere with a local K-9 trainer, and private field sessions. Certification exams including Urban Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Community Canine®, a Public Access Test, and AKC Canine Good Citizen® are incorporated into the training.
Although the training is challenging, not all dogs will pass, and some may not be the right fit, those who successfully complete the program receive a Certification ID card. Obedience Training

Weekly hour-long sessions are complemented by daily 45-minute practice sessions, covering essential commands like loose leash walking, heel, sit and down stays, recall, and addressing common behavioral issues. We also give priority to reinforcing obedience commands with distractions up to 30 feet away, teaching appropriate greetings, and emphasizing the importance of nutrition and physical activity. Group Classes

AKC® Dog Training
Chino’s Caring Kennel offers AKC® Urban CGC and Trick Dog training to boost confidence and skills. Enroll in our AKC® CGC dog training program to benefit from a targeted and results-oriented approach to improving canine behavior in public spaces. Equip your dog for outdoor experiences like crowds, traffic, and stores through this class. Requirements involve having achieved the Canine Good Citizen title and being registered with an AKC® number. It should be noted that aggressive behavior is not allowed.
Enroll your furry friend in the AKC® Trick Dog Class and embark on a joyful journey together! Over 6 weeks, your dog will be introduced to a multitude of exciting tricks, such as spinning in circles, shaking paws, high-fiving, playing dead, barking on cue, crawling, jumping through a hoop, and additional tricks. Your pup can receive an AKC® “Novice” or “Intermediate” Trick Dog Title by performing a required set of tricks.
The Novice assessment entails presenting 10 tricks (or 5 with a CGC title), while Intermediate adds another 10 tricks. Conducted by AKC®-endorsed CGC Evaluators, our course welcomes dogs aged 6 months and above who have met the requirements of Basic Obedience or a similar training program.
