Training Options
Our expert training programs are designed for dogs of all behavioral levels, ages, and breeds – whether your puppy is learning basic commands or your reactive or aggressive dog requires advanced intervention. We offer individualized private lessons, engaging group classes, and immersive board and train options, all tailored to suit your dog’s particular needs.
Obedience Training
Experience the joy and efficacy of training your dog through our Group Obedience courses. Immerse yourself in a small, supportive group of owners and dogs, guided by a dedicated local dog trainer. Daily 45-minute practice sessions are complemented by weekly hour-long sessions, addressing prevalent behavioral concerns and covering essential commands like recall, down and sit stays, heel, and loose leash walking. In addition, we emphasize the importance of teaching correct greetings, reinforcing obedience commands in the presence of distractions up to 30 feet away, and promoting healthy eating habits and regular physical activity. Progress your dog’s abilities with our Intermediate Obedience Training classes, crafted to equip them for AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine evaluations, providing legal benefits and a well-mannered pet certification. Service Dog Training
Embark on our Ontario service dog training journey, under the guidance of a certified service dog trainer. Our K-9 trainer kicks things off with a complimentary consultation and assessment to determine your dog’s suitability and assistance needs. Following the introductory session, your service dog trainer in Ontario will devise a tailored K-9 training plan divided into three stages. These stages include group sessions like Urban Canine, CGC Level I & II, and Basic, in addition to one-on-one sessions conducted either at your home or in alternate locations with a local K-9 trainer, board and train options, and private field sessions. Testing for certifications like Urban Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Canine Good Citizen®, AKC Community Canine®, and a Public Access Test are integrated into the training.
The training is rigorous, some dogs won’t meet the standards for training, and some may simply be unsuitable for the course, but successful completion earns a Certification ID card. Your K-9 trainer in Ontario stresses the significance of your active participation and availability for instruction and lessons to ensure the success of your dog’s comprehensive training, if you are physically capable of doing so. Behavior Modification

AKC® Dog Training
Chino’s Caring Kennel helps dogs succeed with AKC® Urban CGC and Trick Dog training programs. Sign up today for our AKC® CGC dog training sessions for a structured and results-driven approach to shaping canine behavior in public spaces. Equip your dog for outdoor challenges like crowds, traffic, and store visits through this class. Mandatory conditions include having the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration ID. Be aware that aggressive behavior is not tolerated.
Join the AKC® Trick Dog Class and enjoy a fantastic journey with your beloved pet! In a 6-week span, your canine companion will be taught an assortment of fun tricks like jumping through a hoop, spinning in circles, crawling, shaking paws, high-fiving, playing dead, barking on command, and other tricks. Your dog can earn an AKC® “Intermediate” or “Novice” Trick Dog Title when they showcase a specific number of tricks.
For the Novice evaluation, your furry friend must perform 10 tricks (or 5 with a CGC title), and Intermediate includes an additional set of 10 tricks. Managed by AKC®-approved CGC Evaluators, our session caters to dogs aged 6 months and above who have already fulfilled the prerequisites of Basic Obedience or an equivalent course. Board and Train
Our board and train program offers a structured learning experience combined with comfortable boarding for your dog.
