Training Options
We specialize in training programs crafted for dogs of every behavioral level, breed, and age – ranging from advanced instruction for aggressive or reactive dogs to early obedience training for puppies. We offer an immersive experience customized to your dog’s training needs, with options that include private instruction, interactive group sessions, and board and train programs.
Service Dog Training
Engage in our Chino service dog training – a thorough program conducted by a certified service dog trainer. Our K-9 trainer initiates the process with a no-cost consultation and assessment, evaluating your dog’s support requirements and compatibility with the program. After the initial assessment, your service dog trainer in Chino will develop a customized K-9 training protocol spanning three stages. These stages include group sessions like Basic, Urban Canine, and CGC Level I & II, as well as one-on-one sessions either at home or at an off-site location with a local K-9 trainer, board and train options, and private field sessions. Certifications including a Public Access Test, AKC Community Canine®, AKC Canine Good Citizen®, and Urban Canine Good Citizen® will be part of the training process.
Although the training is challenging, not all dogs will pass, and some may not be the right fit, those who successfully complete the program receive a Certification ID card. Your participation and availability for instruction and lessons are crucial for your dog’s comprehensive training, as requested by your K-9 trainer in Chino – provided that you are physically capable of playing an active role. Chino’s Caring Kennel provides expert training in AKC® Trick Dog and Urban CGC to help dogs thrive. Sign up for our AKC® Trick Dog Class and enjoy a delightful bonding experience with your canine companion! In a 6-week span, your dog will acquire a variety of exciting tricks, such as shaking paws, crawling, barking on command, jumping through a hoop, spinning in circles, high-fiving, playing dead, and other tricks. By showcasing a designated number of tricks, your dog can attain an AKC® “Novice” or “Intermediate” Trick Dog Title.
The Novice test includes 10 tricks (or 5 with a CGC title), and Intermediate incorporates another 10 tricks. Led by AKC®-authorized CGC Evaluators, our workshop is accessible to canines aged 6 months and older who have successfully completed Basic Obedience or an equivalent curriculum. Sign up for our AKC® CGC dog training services for a dedicated and results-driven approach to shaping canine behavior in public places. Train your dog to handle outdoor scenarios like crowds, traffic, and shopping with this class. Key requirements involve holding the Canine Good Citizen title and an AKC® registration number. Keep in mind that aggressive behavior is not accepted.

Obedience Training

Each week, you’ll enjoy hour-long sessions alongside daily 45-minute practice sessions, focusing on handling common behavioral challenges and fundamental commands such as recall, down and sit stays, heel, and loose leash walking. Moreover, we emphasize the importance of nutrition and exercise, reinforcing obedience commands with distractions up to 30 feet away, and teaching appropriate greetings. Sharpen your dog’s skills even further through our Intermediate Obedience Training programs, geared towards getting them ready for AKC® Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine assessments, granting legal benefits and a well-mannered pet certification. Group Classes
